Paperbound printing of the 1991 cloth reprint (now OP) of the first four editions, 1932--1951, of the premier work on North American architectural detail. The latest (1988) edition of AGS retains less than one page of material from the first (1932) edition. Those working on historic structures will treasure this collection of materials and practices of past decades. AGS is cited in the first edition of (BCL1), but is, unaccountably , absent in BCL3. (We'd accepted BCL as an ideal guide to a basic library collection until this glaring glitch.)
