The explanations are detailed and easy to follow, even if you are not using the program along with the text. Many diagrams of function keys and easy access to more detailed usage. Great for a beginner or novice user.

Before I read this book I had no previous knowledge of any other CAD software. Now I feel completely confident using MicroStation. Inside Microstation was easy to read and understand, and I finished it in about 2 weeks.
